Science Explorers @ Sac City Library
This school year, the library is holding an after-school program for kids in grades 3-6 from October 3rd through November 21st (3:30 to 5:00 p.m.). Learn fun and wacky science with Lego machines, straw rockets, snap circuits and conduct hair-raising experiments using electricity!
Program Schedule
October 3rd: Lego Simple Machines
October 10th: Lego Motorized Machines
October 17th: Straw Rocket Launcher (meet at library but launching at Sac Community Center)
October 24th: Straw Rocket Launcher
October 31st: No Science Club – Halloween
November 7th: 75-In-One Project Lab
November 14th: Snap Circuits
November 21st: Van de Graaf Generator

Funding for this science program was made possible by individuals and businesses in the Sac City community who donated money to build the science kits for the after school program. These kits will be able to be checked out after the after school program is over in Spring 2013.
